Tomato Workshop Series #3 Preserve The Bounty Canning Workshop

Afternoon class 1 PM to approximately 4 PM
Now that the growing season is coming to a close you want a way to safely squirrel away the results of your hard work. We will be treated to the art of canning by Kate Pike of White Goose Gardens at Holiday Brook Farm. In the farm's kitchen Kate will help you learn how to preserve your summer's harvest to enjoy all year long. With a hands-on approach you will practice safe canning procedures with the hot water bath method. Each participant will take home a jar of freshly canned tomatoes. You bring your apron and we will provide the rest!
